VP Go Onboarding Redesign
After transitioning the Global Corporate Challenge software onto the Virgin Pulse platform, the company identified that the join rates were not as high as they should be.
To increase the number of participants, we ran usability sessions on the feature’s new onboarding experience, identified key problem areas, and redesigned the user flow and UI.

Design updates
The original onboarding flow consisted of multiple bite-size steps across more than 10 onboarding screens. Due to its length, users consistently thought the flow was over before completing it.
Additionally, some confusing UI elements made various elements of the experience hard for users to understand. By simplifying the flow in its entirety, as well as some of these confusing UI elements, we dramatically improved join rates for the VP Go experience.
